3.3. By Duration
- Session cookies: Collect and store data while the user accesses a web page.
- Persistent cookies: Data remains stored in the terminal and can be accessed and processed during a defined period by the person responsible for the cookie, which can range from a few minutes to several years.

It expires 2 years after the last update.

- _utmc: A Google Analytics cookie used for interoperability with the urchin.js tracking code. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
- _utmt: A Google Analytics cookie used to process the type of request made by the user. It expires at the end of the session.
- _utmv: A Google Analytics cookie used to segment demographic data. It expires at the end of the session.
- _utmz: A Google Analytics cookie that stores the traffic source or campaign that explains how the user reached the website. It expires 6 months after the last update.
HOW TO DELETE COOKIES FROM YOUR BROWSER
Chrome
- Select the Tools icon.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on Show Advanced Settings.
- In the “Privacy” section, click on Content Settings.
- To delete cookies: Click on All cookies and site data…
- Do not allow cookies to be stored.
- Click on Clear browsing data (empty the cache).
- Close and restart the browser.

Internet Explorer Version 11
- Select Tools | Internet Options.
- Click on the General tab.
- In the “Browsing history” section, click on Delete browsing history on exit.
- Select Delete files.
- Select Delete cookies.
- Click on Delete.
- Click OK.
- Close and restart the browser.
